The American Correctional Association (ACA) 2027 Winter Conference takes place January 7–10, 2027 in Phoenix, Arizona. ACA’s Winter Conference and Annual Congress of Correction are two of the largest gatherings in the corrections field, bringing together professionals for workshops, accreditation hearings, networking, and an expansive exhibit hall of industry suppliers.

At the 2027 Winter Conference, ACA will explore rehabilitation programs and services, mental health and medical initiatives, and technology across corrections disciplines — from custody and security to facility management, community corrections, and juvenile services.

Program highlights

Registration opens Thursday, January 7, with an ACA Conference Kickoff Event. Friday features a general session keynote, and the exhibit hall opens Friday, January 8 at 10 a.m. Programming continues through Sunday, January 10, including workshops, plenaries, learning labs, and Commission on Accreditation for Corrections panel hearings. Workshop proposal topics include sustainability, aging infrastructure, safety and security, reentry, and staff health and wellness.

Advance registration rates apply on or before November 6, 2026. Hotel booking links for official conference hotels (Renaissance Phoenix Downtown, Hyatt Regency Phoenix, and Sheraton Phoenix Downtown) are provided after paid registration.

Venue

The conference is held at the Phoenix Convention Center in downtown Phoenix. Official hotels are within walking distance of the convention center.
