2027 Alberta Fire Chiefs Conference & Tradeshow

The Alberta Fire Chiefs Association (AFCA) hosts its 79th Annual Conference, AGM and Trade Show from Sunday, 30 May 2027 to Wednesday, 2 June 2027 in Edmonton, Alberta. It is a gathering for fire chiefs and industry professionals, with sessions, networking, the AGM, and a trade show.

Trade show hours

• Sunday 30 May 2027: 18:00–20:00
• Monday 31 May 2027: 09:00–16:00
• Booth set-up Sunday 08:00–15:30; load-out Monday from 16:00 (booths must remain until 16:00)

Trade participation is for registered AFCA Trade Members. Booths are 10′×10′. Exhibitor services: Goodkey Show Services. Conference mobile app includes digital booths and meeting scheduling. Electric vehicles with lithium-ion batteries cannot be charged inside the Edmonton Convention Centre; inside canopies need a CAN/ULC-S109 fire rating.

Programme notes

Sunday 30 May kick-off: opening keynote, two workshops, Member Round Tables, then Opening Ceremonies and Memorial Service (Class A attire). Tuesday 1 June evening: Annual Banquet at the Westin (formal / Class A). Conference concludes Wednesday 2 June. Full schedule: conference.afca.ca/schedule.

Registration

Delegate registration opens 25 January 2027: Delegate Registration. Early bird saves CAD 100. Day passes and group registrations are available. Trade booths: Trade Registration. All conference-related registrations are non-refundable / non-cancellable; substitutions are accepted.

Optional golf (day before)

26th Annual Golf Tournament Saturday 29 May 2027 at The Ranch Golf & Country Club, Acheson, Alberta. CAD 200 includes green fees, cart, shuttle from the Westin/Courtyard, and BBQ dinner. Golf Tournament.
