Nairobi International Trade Fair

The Nairobi International Trade Fair (N.I.T.F.) is the Agricultural Society of Kenya’s Nairobi branch show and the largest trade fair in the East African region. According to the official ASK site, it is a seven-day event held annually from late September to early October at Jamhuri Park / the showground off Ngong Road in Nairobi, about 10 km from the city centre.

ASK’s 2026 Calendar of Events lists the next Nairobi International Trade Fair as 28 September–4 October 2026 at J/Park (Jamhuri Park). The 2026 theme is “Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth.”

The fair has three broad sections: livestock and crop demonstrations (including pedigree livestock, cereals, demonstration plots and greenhouse farming); local manufacturers and the service industry (farm machinery and inputs, banking, insurance, textiles and more); and international exhibitions in the halls. ASK states that around 320 stands/plots of varying sizes are available, plus a limited number of prominent sites for permanent or temporary stands. Space is booked on the official application form with payment; bookings are not final until payment is received. A special shopping area allows exhibitors to sell goods (food and drinks require a permit). International exhibitors who wish to sell should consult clearing agents on customs rules for temporary imports.
