The Workshop 'AI in Education: Ethical and Epistemic Perspectives' is organized by the Eindhoven Center for the Philosophy of AI at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). The workshop took place 6–7 March 2024 at the TU/e Metaforum building in Eindhoven, Netherlands, in a hybrid format combining in-person sessions with online attendance.

The two-day programme brought together philosophers, educators, and AI researchers to debate how Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI are reshaping education. Core themes included the implementation of AI in educational settings (AI-driven feedback, algorithmic grading, AI and creativity, writing and chatbots), the ethical and legal dilemmas it raises (privacy, data protection, authorship, plagiarism, bias, inclusion, consent), and broader pedagogical and societal implications of relying on advanced digital tools in teaching and learning.

Described by its organizers as "the first step in creating an interdisciplinary platform" for ongoing discussion, the workshop aimed to delineate the future implications, potentialities, and challenges of AI in education. No future edition had been announced as of the last verification; the event remains in the normal refresh cycle pending the next edition.
