APRA 77th Anniversary Conference & Expo

The Arizona Parks and Recreation Association (APRA) Annual Conference & Expo is the association's yearly meeting for parks, recreation, conservation, and open-space professionals, students, and related businesses in Arizona. The current official conference page names the next edition the 77th Anniversary, presented by Dave Bang Associates.

Dates used here are the day-level span printed on https://azpra.org/annual-conference/: August 30–September 1, 2027, at the Phoenix Convention Center, South Building. That page is the organizer's live conference landing page (77th Anniversary heading, countdown, and a Sunday-through-Wednesday program outline). The stored listing dates of August 16–September 30, 2025 are not kept. August 16, 2025 was an in-memoriam submission deadline on an older page, not the show dates, and September 30, 2025 was not a conference end date.

The previous edition has already ended. https://azpra.org/annual-conference/conference-highlights/ is a recap of the 76th Anniversary at the same South Building, August 31–September 2, 2026 (712 attendees, 95 exhibitors). A member calendar entry for August 30–September 2, 2026 is the same past edition. The older URL https://www.azpra.org/APRA-Conference (also https://azpra.org/annual-conference-expo/) still shows the 75th Anniversary, August 25–27, 2025, and a banner that 2026 information was coming soon. Those pages are not the next edition.

Venue: Phoenix Convention Center, South Building, Phoenix, Arizona. Both the 2027 conference page and the exhibitors page name the South Building. The exhibitors page also prints "100 Third Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004," which matches the convention center's main campus contact (100 North 3rd Street) rather than the South Building street address, 33 South 3rd Street. This listing is attached to the existing South Building record, not the North Building halls. The association office at 125 E Commonwealth Avenue, Chandler, is not the event venue.

Program outline on the 2027 page, without separate clock times: Sunday evening golf tournament; Monday maintenance rodeo, off-site institutes, TEAMS roundtables, awards banquet, and pre-conference social; Tuesday and Wednesday education sessions and the exhibit hall, plus Tuesday socials. The printed date line is August 30–September 1, 2027 (Monday–Wednesday). Sunday is listed in the outline but is not given its own calendar date on the page, so it is not added to the span.

Exhibitors page (https://azpra.org/annual-conference/exhibitors-sponsors/) speaks to the 2027 show: standard and premium 10x10 booths, exhibitor badges with lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, and load-in at the South Building.
