Automation at EnergyMed / Green Med Expo & Symposium

Automation is one of the four pillars of EnergyMed, the energy-transition and circular-economy exhibition-conference now integrated into Green Med Expo & Symposium in Naples.

The sector presents industrial and building automation that saves time, energy and labour through machines and control systems: industrial automation for precision and reduced human error, and building automation for integrated plant management in intelligent buildings.

Focus areas on the official EnergyMed Automation page include:

• Smart grids — bidirectional energy flows and renewable integration
• Building automation — BACS and advanced home/building control of lighting, climate and security
• Energy monitoring — IoT sensors and software for real-time consumption analysis and predictive maintenance

EnergyMed is organised by Agenzia Napoletana per l'Energia e per l'Ambiente (ANEA). The next Green Med Expo & Symposium is announced for May 2027 at Mostra d'Oltremare, Naples; day-level dates for 2027 are not yet published. The previous edition ran 27–29 May 2026.
