Barbercon Orlando

Barbercon Orlando is the Orlando stop of Barbercon, the global festival of the barbering community, launched in 2016 by Lee Resnick as the live networking event for Barbershopconnect.

Edition: Sunday, November 17, 2024 - a one-day event at the Central Florida Fairgrounds, 4603 W Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32808. Doors open 1:00 PM. Official host hotel: Courtyard Orlando Downtown, 730 North Magnolia Avenue, Orlando, FL 32803 (discounted rate USD 169-174 per night, valid Nov 14-17).

Programme: multiple stages for live hair tutorials and product demonstrations; the Barbercon Marketplace vendor hall with top global barber and cosmetology brands; barber battles in four categories (Traditional, Freestyle, 15 Minute Fade, Ultimate Braid); VIP education classes and workshops led by top educators; the Barbercon Awards; and a barber showcase featuring 50+ names from barbering, men's grooming and cosmetology (past talent: Sofie Pok, Diego Elizarraras, Alan Beak, Kevin Luchmun, Julius Arriola, Danny Amorim). Status: This was Barbercon's first Orlando edition ("For the first time, Barbercon is coming to Orlando"). No next Orlando edition has been announced and no 2027 dates are published. The Barbercon series itself is active - its 2026 editions were Nashville (May 17, 2026, Marathon Music Works) and Dallas (September 13, 2026, Gilley's) - so this is a past-edition renewal, not a cancelled or discontinued event.
