Behaviour of Pesticides in Air, Soil and Water

The International Akademie Fresenius AGRO Conference "Behaviour of Pesticides in Air, Soil and Water" is a long-running, major European platform bringing together the scientific, industrial and regulatory communities working on the environmental fate and risk assessment of plant protection products (PPP). The 28th edition took place on 2–3 June 2026 at the Novotel Düsseldorf City West in Düsseldorf, Germany, with both on-site attendance and a live stream option.

The conference tracks EU regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 and its ongoing developments, environmental risk assessment for soil organisms, non-target arthropods and non-target plants, exposure assessment, recent guidance on trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) from pesticides, and the revision of terrestrial and aquatic guidance documents. It serves professionals in environmental behaviour, ecotoxicology, exposure and risk assessment, registration, R&D, legal and regulatory affairs, as well as authorities, research institutes and water-supply enterprises across Europe. The AGRO Conference is held annually; the next (29th) edition date has not yet been announced.
