South Dakota's premier juried art festival transforms Pioneer Park into an outdoor showcase of original skilled and handcrafted art. Homepage and Visit pages describe over 175 artists from across the nation across 15 disciplines, gourmet and ethnic food booths, an Artisan Food and Naturals area, historic and antique booths, a children's area, and entertainers on the historic park Bandshell and side stages.

The festival is held the second full weekend in July each year. Official future dates also listed on the Visit page: July 15 & 16, 2028 and July 14 & 15, 2029. This listing uses the next day-level future edition (July 10–11, 2027). It does not use the leftover CMS span of 2026-03-01 / 2027-07-11 (artist/food application deadline mixed with festival end). A Contact FAQ block still shows weekday-style "July 11 / July 12" hours without a year; that stale FAQ is not used.

• Pets not allowed; service animals welcome.
• Outdoor festival — prepare for weather.
• Handicap parking on the east side of the park at 2nd Avenue and 5th Street and at the south gate on Western Avenue.
• Shuttle buses from the South Dakota Agricultural Museum (North Medary Avenue and 11th Street); fare $2.00 per person per boarding one-way.
