What: A community evening of local DMV designers (formal, high-fashion, athletic wear, and accessories), plus comedians and poets. Presented with MIAA Beauty Institute, a non-profit beauty academy founded in 2023 that trains current and aspiring beauty professionals in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and nearby areas. The academy offers free classes, tuition assistance, and on-the-job training.
Venue: Restaurant/event space Busboys and Poets Hyattsville location (not a convention center). Tickets were sold via Eventbrite widget on the same page.
