The California Pawnbrokers Association (CAPA) Annual Convention & Exposition is the state's principal gathering for pawnbrokers and secondhand dealers. The 70th Annual CAPA Convention & Exhibition runs 2-4 October 2026 at the Sheraton San Diego Resort in San Diego, California. The programme pairs continuing-education sessions with an exhibit hall of industry suppliers, gem buyers and service providers. CAPA has represented California pawnbrokers since 1956.

• Exclusive Friday tour of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) School of Gemology and Jewelry Arts, the Liddicoat Gemological Library and the GIA Museum (10:00am-4:00pm, 1 CE unit)
