About CAST

CAST — the Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching — is the annual conference of the Science Teachers Association of Texas (STAT). It is the largest gathering of science educators in Texas, built around three days of in-person professional learning, hands-on workshops, keynote and featured sessions, and a large exhibit hall of teaching tools and resources.

The conference serves classroom teachers, early-career and experienced educators, instructional leaders and administrators, and draws exhibitors supplying science teaching products and services.
