Celebration of the Arts (COA) is organized by the Arts Council of Midland.

The official COA page still documents the completed 2026 festival: May 15-17, 2026. 2026 schedule on that page: Premier Party Friday, May 15, 2026, 6:30 PM-10 PM (ticketed); festival days Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, 2026, 10 AM-5 PM, free admission. 2026 hours, ticket prices ($85 single / $80 each for two or more), sponsors, and artist lists are not applied to 2027. Hours for May 14-17, 2027 are not published.

Official copy: COA is the cornerstone fine art and fine craft event in the Permian Basin and the longest running downtown event in Midland, Texas. The 2026 body copy described it as the 42nd year; that edition number is not stated for 2027.
