58th Annual CGMS Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show
The Columbia Gem and Mineral Society (CGMS) presents its 58th Annual Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show at the Jamil Shrine Temple in Columbia, South Carolina.

- Friday, November 20, 2026: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday, November 21, 2026: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sunday, November 22, 2026: 12:00 PM (noon) – 5:00 PM
Admission $7.00 for adults; children 12 and under free with a paid adult; all military personnel and their dependents free. Three-day passes are available.
What's on offer Dozens of dealers sell mineral specimens, rough and cut gemstones, beads, fossils, unique jewelry, and lapidary supplies. CGMS cuts geodes for visitors at the entrance, and there is a 'salted mine' where children can dig for crystal, fossil, rock and mineral treasures, plus $2 / $5 / $10 grab bags.
Demonstrations & Displays Live demonstrations of gemstone faceting, jewelry making, and flint knapping. Educational display cases showcase member collections, the South Carolina state gemstone (amethyst), and the state stone (blue granite). A raffle supports the society.
This family-friendly event is organized by the Columbia Gem and Mineral Society, a nonprofit educational club dedicated to the earth sciences and lapidary arts.
