CLEO Conference and Exhibition

CLEO (Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics) is the premier international forum for scientific and technical optics, photonics, and electro-optic technologies. CLEO 2027 will be held 2-7 May 2027 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California, with the exhibition running 4-5 May. Organized by Optica, the technical conference features more than 2,000 peer-reviewed presentations across 29 topic areas, from quantum optics and advanced imaging to communications and applied innovation, alongside market-focused programming, short courses, and tutorials. The 2027 Call for Papers is open, with submissions due 23 November 2026.
