About Paint & Coating Expo (COATING JAPAN)
Paint & Coating Expo is RX Japan’s specialised paint and coating technology show inside Highly-functional Material Week. The next Tokyo edition is 30 September–2 October 2026, 10:00–18:00 (closes 17:00 on the final day) at Makuhari Messe.
It presents paints, coating agents, surface treatments and paint manufacturing equipment for automotive, electronics and construction. Concurrent specialised fairs include FILMTECH, PLASTIC JAPAN, METAL JAPAN, CERAMIC JAPAN, Adhesion & Bonding Expo and Sustainable Material Expo. Visitor registration is free until 4 September 2026 (JPY 5,500 thereafter). Later 2027 editions: Nagoya 17–19 February (Port Messe Nagoya) and Osaka 12–14 May (INTEX Osaka).
