Colorado Anime Fest 2027

Colorado Anime Fest (COAF) 2027 is the 10th edition of Denver's annual fan convention celebrating anime and Japanese pop culture, running March 19-21, 2027 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center (4900 South Syracuse Street, Denver, CO 80237). First held in 2016 (with 2020 and 2021 canceled due to COVID-19), the convention is organized and run by Broad Horizon Events Corp. under the trade name Colorado Anime Fest.

Programming includes anime industry guests of honor, fan panels, photo shoots, an AMV contest, a costume and cosplay contest, cosplay chess, cosplay cabaret, ANX dance battles, and a rave (CODE:APEX). Social and community spaces include an anime bar, maid cafe, manga library, quiet room, kids' programming, and cosplay repair. Gaming covers both video gaming with tournaments and tabletop gaming. The show also features an exhibitors' hall, a charity auction, and opening and closing ceremonies. Registration opened in advance of the event, and past editions have raised substantial sums for Colorado charities such as Animal Rescue of the Rockies (over $68,100 donated to date). COAF 2026 drew 5,163 unique attendees.
