Common Threads Regional Quilt Show

The Common Threads Quilt Show is a regional quilt show hosted by the Prairie Quilt Guild of Wichita, celebrating the workmanship and creative expression of quilters throughout south-central Kansas. The most recent edition took place June 19-20, 2026 at Century II Exhibition Hall in Wichita, Kansas, open daily 10:00-17:00, and the public was welcome. Highlights included hundreds of quilts on display with judged categories and Best of Show awards, bed-turning exhibits, lectures and demonstrations (2026 special lecturer: Dawn Heese), a Quilts of Valor presentation, a silent miniature auction of guild-donated quilts, an Opportunity Quilt raffle, and a wide range of vendors offering quilting supplies, sewing and quilting machines, patterns, fabrics and notions. 2026 admission was USD 15 for a one-day advance ticket or USD 20 for both days (USD 17 / USD 22 online or at the door). The next edition has not yet been announced.
