The CTAA Annual Trade Show & Educational Conference is the flagship gathering of the Connecticut Apartment Association (CTAA), the state trade association leading the apartment industry through education, advocacy and networking for owners, managers, developers and the business partners who serve quality multifamily housing. Rather than a consumer show, it is a B2B day-and-a-half built around the Connecticut rental-housing ecosystem: vendors and suppliers exhibit to property managers and owners, while attendees stack continuing-education sessions, keynotes and networking into a compact schedule.

What's on the program

• Welcome reception — a casual evening of registration, cocktails, bowling and billiards at the resort's leisure lounge, used to kick off networking before the business day.
• Trade show floor — exhibitors spanning property services, maintenance, software, insurance, flooring and amenities staff booths for owners and managers to source solutions.
• Educational breakouts — sessions on inspection readiness, preventative maintenance, social-media marketing, government relations and advocacy (CTAA monitors state legislation alongside the NAA Advocacy arm).
• Keynote & giveaways — a motivational/improv keynote closes the day, paired with the association's trademark cash giveaways.
• Sponsorships — lunch, lane and other event-specific packages connect vendors with multifamily professionals.

Cadence and venue

The conference is held annually, traditionally in mid-to-late September, at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard, Connecticut (recent editions: 28–29 September 2023, 19–20 September 2024, 18–19 September 2025). The 2026 edition date was not formally announced by the organizer at the time of writing. The next confirmed edition moves to a new venue — Mohegan Sun in Montville, Connecticut — on 3–4 March 2027.

Attendance and registration

The event is geared to Connecticut multifamily professionals. Registration is typically around US$150 for CTAA members and US$250 for future/non-members, with exhibitors registering through a separate vendor platform. A discounted room block at the host resort is usually offered with a deadline a few weeks before the show.
