Deming Logging Show

The Deming Logging Show is an annual, non-profit logging show held on the Deming Logging Show grounds at 3295 Cedarville Rd, Bellingham, WA 98226, in Whatcom County, Washington. The organisation was originally started in 1962 (the show is billed as running "since 1963") to financially assist loggers injured in the woods, and it remains a volunteer- and community-supported event for "busted up loggers" and their families.

The grounds come alive the second full weekend in June each year for events and exhibitions that display the skills, tools and technology used in the logging industry.

Last edition: 13–14 June 2026. The show starts at 1 pm each day, with eliminations starting at 11 am on Saturday only; gates open at 9 am. Admission is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors (62+) and children aged 6–12, under 6 free, and day parking is free. No dates for the next edition had been published on the official site at the time of this check.

Contests and events

Timber-sports contests include Best Load of Logs (and Doubles), Wrapper Throwing, Trailer Backing, Cable Splicing, Axe Throwing, Pole Falling and other logging skills competitions, run over the weekend in the show arena.

Also at the grounds

Vendors and equipment displays, logging-industry exhibits, food (including large and small BBQ stands), a logger's memorial and museum, a gallery and history exhibits, awards (Gold Axe, Silver Axe, All Around Logger, Sportsmanship, President's Watches, scholarships) and weekend camping with a dedicated camping area and waitlist. Outside show weekend the grounds are rented for car shows, weddings, fundraisers, concerts and other events.
