2026 DHI Canada Conference and Expo
Door and Hardware Institute Canada (DHI Canada / Institut des Portes et de la Quincaillerie Canada) will hold its 2026 Conference and Expo on 1–3 October 2026 at the Hilton Lac-Leamy, 3 Boulevard du Casino, Gatineau, Quebec (Ottawa/Gatineau).
Conference programme (at a glance)
- Thursday 1 October: Registration opens 10:00–19:00 (Beethoven Foyer). Exhibitor set-up 11:30–15:00. Manufacturer/distributor private networking 13:00–15:30. Uncorked: Wine, Women & Wisdom 14:30–16:30. Expo & Welcome Reception 16:30–19:30 in the Mozart Ballroom.
- Friday 2 October: Buffet breakfast 07:30; opening remarks 08:00; keynote Doorway to Possibilities with Jill Heinerth at 08:15; business programme including Accessing Your Best Business Model Amidst Dynamic Market Conditions (Louis Gialloreto) and a session on AI in the business community; buffet lunch 12:30. Optional tour: Discover the Charm of Gatineau Park & Wakefield (10:00–15:00).
- Saturday 3 October: Conference golf tournament (bus departs hotel 07:45). Optional tour: Discover Ottawa — History, Culture & Local Flavours (10:00–16:00). Closing banquet: reception 18:15–19:30 (Mozart Foyer), dinner 19:30–20:30, entertainment 20:30–21:30 (comedian Joey Elias) in the Mozart Ballroom.

Canada Conference Technical School runs 27 September–1 October 2026 in Ottawa/Gatineau (courses COR133 Electrified Architectural Hardware, AHC307 Advanced Detailing Doors, Frames & Hardware, AHC305 Introduction to Specification Writing).
