Format

ECA MarketPlace is a two-day, appointment-based conference rather than an open exhibit-floor trade show. Vendors complete company profiles that carrier attendees review and then indicate which vendors they wish to meet. Carriers complete profiles for shippers, review shipper profiles, and rate who they want to meet.

ECA’s matching software pairs shipper needs with carrier capabilities and schedules two days of Shipper-to-Carrier and Vendor-to-Carrier 13-minute interviews. The association describes the program as “48 in 48”—48 meetings with pre-matched partners in 48 hours—plus networking and service exhibitors.
