Energy, Fuels & Decarbonisation Expo (EFD) 2026

16–17 September 2026 at NEC Birmingham (Pendigo Way, Marston Green, B40 1NT). EFD is the UK’s leading trade show for energy management and decarbonisation, part of ESS Expo 2026 (seven co-located shows, one ticket).

Join two days covering low-carbon and sustainable energy, alternative fuels, energy from waste, hydrogen, CCUS, bioenergy, energy efficiency, infrastructure and policy-led innovation. Meet energy companies, local authorities, EfW specialists, brokers and consultants under one roof.

Sectors include emission reduction / CCUS, hydrogen and clean fuels, energy from secondary materials, bioenergy, renewables, equipment and systems, energy management, and consulting.

In 2025 EFD welcomed 5,551 attendees. Free to attend (register in advance or on site). Opening times (ESS): Wed 16 Sep 09:30–16:30; Thu 17 Sep 09:30–16:00 (not the same both days). NEC lists EFD in Hall 20; ESS FAQ halls are 6, 17, 18, 19 & 20 plus outdoor. Ticket grants access to all co-located shows including RWM.
