Euro-Asia Forum in Politics, Economics and Business

The Euro-Asia Forum in Politics, Economics and Business (EAFPEB) was established in 2014 by a partner of the Eurasia Business and Economics Society (EBES). Based in Istanbul, it focuses on the Euro-Asia region and is funded by contributions from forum participants. It is independent, unbiased, and open to cooperation with universities, government agencies, central banks, international agencies, and think tanks.

The most recently announced edition, Euro-Asia Forum in Politics, Economics and Business 2022, took place on 1–2 July 2022 in Istanbul, Turkey. It was jointly organized with EBES and supported by the Istanbul Economic Research Association. The Forum invites paper, panel, and round-table submissions from academics, journalists, consultants, and practitioners across economics, business, social and political sciences with a Euro-Asia focus.

Accepted abstracts are published in the Forum Program and Abstract Book (ISBN). Full papers are optional; registered participants may submit to Eurasian Journal of Economics and Finance (EJEF), Eurasian Journal of Business and Management (EJBM), or Eurasian Journal of Social Sciences (EJSS) without a publication fee after a blind peer review.

The official site (eafpeb.org) still presents the 2022 call (abstract deadline 20 May 2022; registration 20 May–17 June 2022; registration fee 250 euros / 200 euros for co-authors and non-presenters). No 2024, 2026, or later edition dates have been published. The Forums page states meetings were held each July until 2019 and biennially from 2020, with the sixth meeting in July 2022 in Istanbul.
