About the event

Expoconstrucción y Expodiseño is one of Latin America's most prominent trade fairs for construction, architecture, infrastructure and design. The name fuses "Construcción" (Construction) and "Diseño" (Design), reflecting the fair's interdisciplinary scope that goes well beyond a traditional construction show. It is organised by Corferias, one of South America's leading trade-fair organisers, and has been held at the Corferias exhibition centre in Bogotá since its inception in 1999.

The fair is a mixed event (feria mixta): it is open to both professional visitors and the general public. The 2027 edition is promoted with around 400 exhibitors, live product demonstrations, an academic agenda, a business round (rueda de negocios), and experiential activities.

What is on show

Key topics span the construction and design industries: new materials, architectural surfaces and finishes, infrastructure engineering, building technology, home automation, sustainable and bio-construction, project-management and BIM software, and water technologies. Industrial design and ecological approaches to construction also shape the fair's identity, with a special emphasis on Colombian building culture.

Note on the 2025 edition

The organiser reported that the 18th edition (2025) "surpassed all expectations in visitors, exhibitors and business" (la versión 18 superó todas las expectativas en visitantes, expositores y negocios), underlining the event's standing as the core B2B and B2C platform for the Colombian and Andean construction market.
