About Expomebel

Expomebel is the international exhibition for furniture, interior textile and home accessories held at Inter Expo Center - Sofia, Bulgaria. It is a specialized show covering all kinds of furniture and interior textile, and serves as a meeting forum for generating new ideas in interior design, interior architecture and furniture.

The exhibition deliberately brings together different styles - classic and contemporary - so that buyers can compare and choose among the offerings of leading Bulgarian producers and the representatives of foreign brands. During Expomebel a number of major regional commercial and business events are organised alongside the show floor, giving brands an additional platform for development.

Admittance is by ticket - online (announced by the organiser ahead of the show) and at the checkpoints of Inter Expo Center.

By share of exhibited product groups the organiser reports modular furniture around 40%, tables and chairs 24%, upholstered furniture and office furniture 17% each, mattresses and mattress frames 8% and interior textiles 7%.

Audience and scale

The 2025 edition gathered 220+ exhibitors from around the world and 10,000+ visitors. The visitor profile includes hotel and restaurant keepers, owners of cafeterias and bars, architects and designers, leading Bulgarian producers and representatives of foreign companies. The accompanying programme features the DIBLA Design Awards, a dedicated design zone and the Bulgarian Furniture of the Year competition.

Access: Metro Line 4 to station "Inter Expo Center - Tsarigradsko shose"; bus lines 1, 3, 5 and 6 stop directly at the centre. A paid buffer parking area at the metro station offers 1,300 spaces, and the on-site parking facility below Exhibition Hall 6 provides a further 420 spaces across three levels.
