About the event

FWCCA is a Florida trade association for wall and ceiling contractors, describing itself as "PROVIDING FLORIDA WITH QUALITY CRAFTSMANSHIP. FOR OVER 40 YEARS." Its annual Southeastern Convention and Trade Show is the association's single biggest gathering of the year: the official 2026 events calendar lists "July 29 - August 1 FWCCA Annual Southeastern Trade Show & Convention, Caribe Royale Resort, Orlando, FL", alongside a quarterly board meeting and an annual golf tournament at Hawk's Landing.

The show floor carries the wall, ceiling and interior construction supply chain - the association's partner list reads like a materials directory (Ame's Tools, Cemex, Certainteed, Lanco, L&W Supply, Marinoware, Master Wall, Quikrete, Senco, Sto, TapeTech, Titan America, Trim-Tex, Wind Lock, WCI). The 2026 edition featured more than 100 exhibitors and roughly 700 attendees, with the trade show followed by the annual Industry Awards Luncheon, presentation of incoming officers and directors, and a Saturday night theme party. Historically the event has hosted between 1,000 and 1,500 people over its three days.

Entry to the show floor is free to all contractors and industry affiliates; a full convention registration fee covers the education sessions, President's Reception, lunch in the exhibit hall and the closing party. Manufacturers can also book one- or two-hour product demonstration programs for members. A silent auction runs throughout the event for the FWCCA Scholarship Program, and St Jude Children's Research Hospital is the association's charity of choice.

Format

Association-run, exhibitor-facing: booth space is sold directly by the association office, and the commercial value is the annual renewal of a Florida contractor membership network rather than consumer footfall. The association also publishes a quarterly magazine, "The Inside Straight".
