Get into Teaching: North West is the UK government's regional teacher-recruitment and training event for the North West of England, run by the Get Into Teaching service (Department for Education). The most recent North West regional event took place on 7 March 2026 at Manchester Central, Windmill Street, Manchester.
The event brings together teacher-training providers, universities and ambassadors to give prospective teachers free, personalised guidance on how to train to teach — including sessions on applications, funding, and salaried versus fee-funded routes. Attendance is free and open to career changers and graduates considering teaching in the North West.
The Get Into Teaching service continues to list upcoming events (both in-person regional events and online sessions) on its official events page. New North West regional dates are announced there as they are confirmed; visitors should check the official events listing for the next scheduled edition.
