Glarner Messe
Glarner Messe is the regional consumer and trade fair of the canton of Glarus, Switzerland, held in and around the lintharena in Näfels. Since 2025 it runs every two years (odd years) around 1 November, with around 100 exhibitors and more than 18,000 visitors. Next edition: 28 October – 1 November 2027.

About the fair
For more than 47 years the Glarner Messe has been a fixture of social and economic life in the canton of Glarus. It is now held every two years, in odd years, around 1 November: the lintharena in Näfels becomes the meeting point of the region, with more than 18,000 visitors and around 100 exhibitors presenting products and services. The programme is rounded off by special shows and side events – in 2025 these included "Puuräland – So lebt die Glarner Landwirtschaft", the Glarner Gewerbeverband platform, the live-art special show "Künstler an der Arbeit" and Zirkus Mugg. Getting there
The fairground lies in and around the lintharena in Näfels. By public transport take the bus from Näfels or Ziegelbrücke station and get off at the "Lintharena" stop. By car, leave motorway A3 at exit Niederurnen and follow the signs towards Glarus / Näfels / Klausen; the lintharena is on the right-hand side of the Kantonsstrasse.
