GlobalConnect is one of Germany’s largest foreign-trade events. The biennial conference is organised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism of Baden-Württemberg together with Messe Stuttgart, Handwerk International Baden-Württemberg, Baden-Württembergischer Industrie- und Handelskammertag, Enterprise Europe Network, Baden-Württemberg International and Unternehmer Baden-Württemberg.

The 2026 edition brings together actors from foreign trade, policy and internationalisation. It focuses on current challenges in international trade and the future viability of Baden-Württemberg’s economy: geopolitical change, protectionism and new trade-policy frameworks, plus strategies for a resilient, diversified export business.

Internationaler Beratungstag (IBT)

Under the GlobalConnect 2026 umbrella, the Baden-Württemberg International Consultation Day of the state’s chambers of industry and commerce offers one-to-one meetings with German Chamber of Commerce Abroad (AHK) experts on markets, sectors and concrete questions about doing business abroad.
