The Grand Rapids Comic-Con is a family-friendly comic book and popular arts convention taking place on November 13-15, 2026 at the DeVos Place convention center in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Show hours: Friday 12:00pm-7:00pm, Saturday 10:00am-7:00pm, Sunday 10:00am-5:00pm.
What to expect: The convention features media and Hollywood celebrity guests, comic creator guests, literary guests, cosplay guests, a large artist alley, an exhibitor/vendor hall, tabletop and video gaming, an independent film festival, fan panels and programming for all ages.
Family-friendly focus: Organizer West Michigan Convention Ventures LLC strives to create PG to PG-13 style events with programming for adults and children of all ages, and works to keep display materials family-appropriate.
History: First held on October 12, 2013 by Mark and Jennifer Hodges with a staff of college convention operators, the show drew nearly 10,000 attendees on its first day and has grown continuously, moving to DeVos Place in 2015 and surpassing 22,000 turnstile attendees by its third year. The organization also runs an annual Kalamazoo Comic-Con each spring.
Future editions are already scheduled for October 29-31, 2027 and November 10-12, 2028 at DeVos Place.
