Green Mobility Technology Expo

Green Mobility Technology Expo (GMTE) is the international exhibition for green mobility and sustainable technologies, held in Cairo, Egypt. Organized as a three-day trade platform, GMTE brings together manufacturers, distributors, retailers and installers across the vehicle technology, parts, chemicals, equipment and accessories sectors, alongside conferences and exhibition stands focused on eco-friendly mobility solutions.

The most recent confirmed edition took place from 16 to 18 May 2024 at the Cairo International Conference Centre (CICC), Nasr City, Cairo — confirmed by the organizer's site, 10times and the CantonFair event feed. The 2024 edition positioned Egypt as a regional trading hub for MENA, Europe and Africa, with test-drive areas for cars, mopeds, e-bikes, scooters and similar light electric vehicles.

GMTE emphasizes reducing environmental and noise pollution in urban areas and building more environmentally friendly mobility services. Exhibitors and visitors connect with key policymakers and qualified regional contacts, with international delegations attending the exhibition.

As of the latest verification (September 2026), the organizer's website still promotes the event but has not published dates or a venue for a 2025, 2026 or 2027 edition. No official cancellation has been announced. The next edition remains to be announced (TBA). This record retains the last confirmed edition (May 2024) and will return to the standard verification cycle.
