About the event

HackerX runs invite-only recruiting events for developers in 175+ cities worldwide, with a community of more than 140,000 members. Each evening opens with remarks from the organiser and sponsor, followed by networking sessions organised in a rapid-interview format, in which employers meet a new candidate roughly every five minutes.

Candidates are pre-screened software engineers, full-stack developers, mobile engineers, data scientists and product managers. Past employers hiring through HackerX events include Amazon, GitHub, Salesforce and Disney. Every employer also receives a profile on the HackerX Job Stack platform so that talent can connect by tech stack.

The Basel edition takes place on 8 October 2026, 8:00 PM-11:00 PM CEST. Further details and registration are available on the official HackerX website.
