Hermann Park Kite Festival

Hermann Park Kite Festival is a free, family-friendly spring tradition held annually at Hermann Park in Houston, Texas, organized by Hermann Park Conservancy. The festival features kite flying on Miller Hill near Miller Outdoor Theatre, live music, a DJ, interactive games, face painting, activity booths, and local food vendors. The 14th Annual Kite Festival returned to Hermann Park on Saturday, March 7, 2026 (11 am–3 pm). Admission is free and open to the public. As of late 2026 the next edition (2027) date had not been officially announced; the festival typically takes place on a weekend in spring.
