SHM Converge

SHM Converge is the annual conference of the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM), the largest US gathering of hospital medicine professionals. The conference was historically branded "Hospital Medicine" (e.g. "Hospital Medicine 2021" planned at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, per SHM's mid-2020 homepage) and was renamed SHM Converge in late 2020; this CMS row (formerly titled "Hospital Medicine") refers to that renamed annual conference. SHM Converge 2027 runs March 30 - April 2, 2027 (March 30 is for pre-courses; the main conference begins March 31) at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The program offers clinical updates, hands-on workshops, scientific abstract competitions, dedicated tracks for residents and early-career physicians, networking events, and an exhibit hall of hospital-medicine products and services.
