Returning to Stavanger in 2027, the 44th edition of this conference brings together the global drilling community—operators, service companies, and contractors—to share technical advancements, operational insights, and field-proven solutions.

As drilling evolves across diverse environments, the industry continues to balance performance, cost, complexity, and emissions. The programme will highlight how well construction technologies and practices are advancing, while encouraging both innovation and lessons learned across all categories.

The event is developed by the industry for the industry. It offers peer-selected technical papers in drilling, a concurrent exhibition of technologies and services, and three days of networking among international operators, contractors and service providers. The conference alternates annually between the US and Europe; the 2027 edition is in Stavanger, Norway.
