IILF – India International Leather Fair (Chennai)

The India International Leather Fair (IILF) is the flagship event of India's leather industry and one of the most prominent specialised fairs for leather and accessories, footwear components, synthetic footwear materials, leather goods, machinery, chemicals, equipment and technology on the international events calendar. Beyond its business dimension, IILF is also a platform to demonstrate India's export and investment potential in the leather and allied sectors.

Organiser

India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) — a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, headquartered at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. IILF is held annually at Chennai Trade Centre, a joint venture of ITPO and the Tamil Nadu Trade Promotion Organisation (TNTPO).

39th edition (2026)

The 39th IILF was held at Chennai Trade Centre from 1 to 3 February 2026. Following the addition of the newly constructed exhibition halls at Chennai Trade Centre, the 2026 edition occupied a larger exhibition area than earlier editions.

• Synthetic materials and synthetic footwear
• Tanning machinery, shoe-making machines and equipment
• Chemicals, dyes and finishing technology
• Leather garments and allied products

Next edition

The 40th edition (2027) dates have not been announced by the organiser as of 1 October 2026. ITPO's official site carries only the 2026 edition (there is no IILF 2027 page — /iilf-2027 falls back to the ITPO homepage) and ITPO's official events calendar, last updated 01-10-2026, does not list IILF 2027. Third-party listings circulating "1–3 February 2027" are not confirmed by the organiser; the Leather Working Group states that 2027 dates are "still to be confirmed".
