International COCOTECH Conference and Exhibition

International COCOTECH Conference & Exhibition is the largest technical conference dedicated solely to coconut development, organized by the International Coconut Community (ICC), an intergovernmental organization established in 1969 under UNESCAP and headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia. The conference gathers researchers, industry, and the private sector to highlight technological developments in coconut production: varietal improvement, coconut-based farming systems, integrated pest and disease management, post-harvest processing, emerging coconut products, and marketing strategies. Recent editions: 49th COCOTECH (Aug 30 - Sep 2, 2021, virtual), 50th COCOTECH (Nov 7 - 11, 2022, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia, jointly organized with the Government of Malaysia), and the 51st COCOTECH Conference & Exhibition (Jul 22 - 25, 2024, The Westin Surabaya, Indonesia). The 52nd edition has not yet been announced as of September 2026.
