About H2 & FC EXPO

Hydrogen is a key to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, contributing to decarbonisation in transportation, power generation, and industry. H2 & FC EXPO gathers technologies for the production, transportation, storage, and use of hydrogen. Since its launch in 2005, it has been a must-attend business platform for professionals worldwide.

The next edition is the Tokyo Autumn show: 9–11 September 2026, 10:00–17:00, at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan. It is a constituent show of SMART ENERGY WEEK [Autumn], organised by RX Japan GK. Visitor admission is free with advance registration.

Exhibition profile

Exhibit categories include hydrogen production, storage and supply; fuel-cell materials, stacks and manufacturing equipment; evaluation, testing and analysis; hydrogen stations; and fuel-cell systems and products (PEFC, SOFC, FCV and more).

Expected visitors include fuel-cell, automobile and electronics manufacturers; construction and plant companies; petroleum, gas and electricity companies; government offices; and investors.

Concurrent shows

H2 & FC EXPO is held inside SMART ENERGY WEEK together with PV EXPO, BATTERY JAPAN, SMART GRID EXPO, WIND EXPO, CCUS EXPO, and special exhibit areas including FUSION POWER WORLD, BIPV WORLD, Floating Offshore Wind World and ESS WORLD.

SMART ENERGY WEEK is held three times a year: Autumn (Makuhari Messe), Osaka (INTEX Osaka) and Spring (Tokyo Big Sight).
