International Stamp Fair

The Internationale Briefmarken-Messe Essen (International Stamp Fair Essen) was a specialist philately trade fair held at Messe Essen from 1976 to 2023 (annually from 2006). The 33rd and last edition took place 25–28 May 2023 with more than 100 exhibitors.

After that edition, the Bund Deutscher Philatelisten (BDPh) stated that the fair would not continue. A further review by a BDPh and APHV working group in November 2023 concluded that continuation was not viable because not enough exhibitors could be found. Essen is no longer a stamp-fair venue; the former event domain now hosts an informational site about German philately and other fairs (IBB Ulm, IBRA 2028).

There is no next edition of International Stamp Fair Essen.
