International Symposium and Book Exhibit on English Language Teaching

2026 PAC, ENG.SU-APLX & ETA 35th Anniversary International Symposium on English Language Teaching and Learning

The English Teachers’ Association–Republic of China (ETA-ROC) will hold its 35th anniversary international symposium on 14–15 November 2026 at Chientan Youth Activity Center, Taipei, Taiwan, jointly with PAC and ENG.SU-APLX. The Department of English Language and Literature, Soochow University, is a co-organizer.

Theme: Transformative English Education: Integrating Technology, Humanity and Sustainability.

The meeting invites research and practice in English education, applied linguistics, and translation/interpreting, including technology-enhanced pedagogy, sustainability and intercultural education, human-centered ELT, ESP, EMI/CLIL, and related areas. Presentation formats include oral papers, workshops, panels, and posters.

Venue address (official): No.16, Sec. 4, Zhongshan N. Rd., Zhongshan Dist., Taipei 104, Taiwan (R.O.C.). The site is about a 10-minute walk from Chientan Station (Tamsui MRT line, Exit 2).
