About
Highly-functional Material Week is Japan’s largest exhibition cluster for advanced materials and related technologies, organized by RX Japan. The Tokyo show brings together Highly-functional Material Expo, PLASTIC JAPAN, FILMTECH JAPAN, METAL JAPAN, CERAMIC JAPAN, Paint & Coating Expo, Adhesion & Bonding Expo, Sustainable Material Expo, Material DX Expo, Photonix, and FINETECH JAPAN.
2026 Tokyo edition
The official hub confirms the Tokyo Show on 30 September – 2 October 2026, 10:00–18:00 (final day closes at 17:00) at Makuhari Messe, Japan. Free visitor registration is available until 4 September 2026. The series also runs in Nagoya (February 2027) and Osaka (May 2027) as separate editions.
Who should attend
The exhibition targets R&D, procurement, and production teams in electronics, automotive, semiconductor, packaging, and advanced manufacturing seeking resins, films, metals, ceramics, coatings, and processing technologies.
