Current status (as of 12 October 2026)

• The dedicated event site kelownafx.com is currently down — it returns HTTP 500 "Your server is running PHP version 7.2.34 but WordPress 7.1.3 requires at least 7.4" on every path (home, /about, /news, /schedule, robots.txt, wp-json). This is a hosting configuration failure, not a site shutdown; the domain is registered and active (expires 2027-07-23).
• The organizer's own site, newvintage.ca, still lists "KFX 2025 – April 19, 2025 – Kelowna Curling Club" under its Festivals page, and its site-wide Events Calendar shows no KFX entry; no 2026 or 2027 KFX dates are published anywhere on the organizer's site, the venue's calendar, or Tourism Kelowna's spring festivals listing (which still carries the April 19, 2025 date with venue "MNP Place").
• No next-edition (2026/2027) dates have been announced. The festival is not marked cancelled or discontinued. The 2025 edition has been held and has passed.
