Since its first edition in 1980, KIMES has grown alongside the development of Korea’s medical industry, becoming the largest specialized exhibition for medical devices and hospital facilities in Korea. Over the years, Korea's medical industry has transformed into a high-tech industry encompassing medical information systems, ultrasound devices, radiological equipment, robotic medicine, AI, and rehabilitation.

Contributing to the advancement of the Korean medical industry, KIMES has established itself as a world-class medical professional exhibition. In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, KIMES showcases new technologies and products in smart healthcare, robotic medicine, eco-friendly medical waste facilities, advanced hospital facilities, medical information systems integrated with IT, and related mobility solutions.
