LA Art Book Fair
LA Art Book Fair (LAABF) is Printed Matter's West Coast art book fair, celebrating artists' book publishers and the wider art publishing community. Initiated in 2013, it is the leading international gathering for artists' books, zines, and contemporary art editions on the West Coast.
Dates: May 15-18, 2025 (last edition; next edition not yet announced)
Venue: ArtCenter College of Design, South Campus, Pasadena, California
The 2025 edition featured over 300 exhibitors, including artists, collectives, small presses, institutions, galleries, antiquarian booksellers, and distributors, plus The Classroom discussion series, musical performances on The Stage, the Shannon Michael Cane Award for first-time exhibitors, and the Volume Grant supporting BIPOC artists and publishers.
