Languages & The Media

Languages & The Media is the biennial International Conference and Exhibition on Language Transfer in Audiovisual Media, celebrating its 30th anniversary. The 16th edition takes place from 4 to 6 November 2026 at Senate House, University of London, UK, under the theme 'Moving Images That Move Audiences: Localising with Intent'. The event brings together accessibility professionals, researchers, technology providers, and content creators to discuss media localisation, audiovisual translation and accessibility. The three-day programme includes pre-conference workshops, a speakers' reception, conference sessions, a participants' reception, and a networking dinner, with an exhibition hall open on all three days.
