The Louisiana Marathon is Baton Rouge's premier winter running event. The 2027 race weekend takes place Saturday, January 16 and Sunday, January 17, 2027. Events include the Full Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday, January 17, plus the Window World Louisiana Quarter Marathon, 5K, and Kid's Marathon on Saturday, January 16. The full marathon has a 6-hour time limit (13:45/mile pace). Runners enjoy a flat, fast course through downtown Baton Rouge with a celebration of Louisiana culture, food and music.
