The Louisiana Outdoor Expo is an annual consumer outdoors show run by Great Southern Expos, the group behind the Mississippi Outdoor Expo, Mississippi Sportsman Show, Dixie National Marketplace and Mississippi State Fair Marketplace. It is held at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, Louisiana - Ascension Parish's multi-use event venue, built with an emphasis on equestrian and 4-H activities.

The show is built around three sections - a Boating Expo, a Hunting Expo and a Power Equipment Expo - alongside attractions such as DockDogs dock-jumping competitions, the Gator Country wildlife experience and mechanical bull riding. The organiser also runs fishing and hunting photo galleries where visitors post catches such as bass, crappie, bream, deer, duck and turkey.

Notes

No dates for the next edition were published at the time of this check: the schedule page lists the 2026 programme without a year label, and the lodging page still quotes hotels and a booking deadline for the March 2025 edition. This entry therefore carries the last held edition's dates. A separate event, the Louisiana Sportsman Show, runs on different dates (its site lists 20-22 March 2026) and is not this Expo.
