About Luminato Festival
Luminato Festival is Toronto's annual multi-arts celebration, transforming the city's streets, stages and theatres with bold, playful and of-the-moment art every June. Distinctly Toronto, proudly Canadian and totally global, it welcomes the world to explore the city differently.
The 2026 Edition
The 20th edition ran June 3–28, 2026, bringing more than 1,000 artists to over 25 venues and public spaces and presenting 50+ free and ticketed events. Programming spanned theatre, music, dance, circus and visual art — including Magic & Circus headliners Penn & Teller and performances at Meridian Arts Centre and The Lyric Theatre.
Venues & City
Luminato is a city-wide festival with no single venue: events take place across Toronto's theatres, concert halls, galleries and public spaces, anchored by major sites such as Meridian Arts Centre. The festival is a registered Canadian charity.
