The Maryland Alpaca Breeders Association (MABA) hosts the Maryland Alpaca and Fleece Festival on 14-15 November 2026 at Howard County Fairgrounds, 2210 Fairground Road, West Friendship, Maryland 21794. Hours are 9:00-16:00 both days. Admission and parking are free; the public is welcome.
The festival features live animals, fiber vendors, demonstrations, and classes. Knitters, crocheters, spinners, weavers, and shoppers can find alpaca, wool, mohair, and blended yarns and fibers, plus handmade holiday gifts such as alpaca accessories, jewelry, and pottery. Pets other than service dogs are not allowed on the fairgrounds.
